Catching Up with Holland

Hello, Friends!  It’s been so long since we’ve chatted.  While moving across the country really was a good excuse for temporarily neglecting my blog house, now that we’re getting more settled that excuse is starting to wear thin.  In the last couple of weeks, I did get to travel back to lovely Cache Valley for my niece’s wedding, and then rushed back to enjoy a visit to our new locale from cousins and Grandparents.  Such busy fun!  All the while, I’ve been trying to keep up with my freelance jobs.  If you are a mom, you can probably guess that is no small feat when school is out.

So, in the absence of my own fresh, fun ideas…pinky promise they are coming…here’s where you can get a dose of Holland around the WorldWideWeb.

At Remodelaholic

I spent the month of June finding budget-friendly ideas from all over the blogosphere for the Home Sweet Home on  Budget series.  Check out all the amazing spaces and projects that were linked up at the Dining Room Project Linkup….

….like this amazing refurbished lantern from Soul Style:

I kicked off the month of July with some features from the linkup and an introduction to the focus room for this month…KITCHENS.  Yay!

Above is one of my very favorite kitchen inspiration photos…love the combination of colors and textures!

At Infarrantly Creative

I’ve been inspired by summer to create these collections in the 5 Ways Saturdays series:

{5 Ways to Decorate with the Color Orange}

And stay tuned…tomorrow’s post goes live after noon, and it’s in honor of National Can It Forward Day.  Here’s a sneak peak:

Last of all, I hate to admit it, but my Pinterest boards haven’t suffered this summer.  I’ve even had time to create a few new ones, in honor of our new home and surroundings.  Feel free to browse.
